He came from Romania.
He authored the booklet: Der alter vald bevoyner (The old forest
dweller) (Bucharest, 1879), 32 pp., which appeared initially in 1876 in Hayoyets (The advisor). It was later reprinted in four issues of Di yudishe biblyotek (The Jewish
library) in Bucharest (1899). He
published as well in Der vare hayoyets
(The true advisor), also in Bucharest.
