Y. L. BRUKSHTEYN
He was born in Sighetu
Marmației, Hungary. He was
rescued from Auschwitz. He published
stories in Ikuf-bleter (Pages from the Jewish Cultural Association)
(Czernowitz-Bucharest, 1948-1950). He
authored a play, entitled Nakht-shikht (Night shift) (Bucharest, 1950),
68 pp., which was staged in 1950 in the Bucharest Yiddish state theater.
